The ask—

Turner was looking for a fun and engaging way to ignite the FRIENDS fanbase for the 25th Anniversary and asked STN to plan and execute a Twitter Live Stream with corresponding assets— helping to make the moment memorable while actively engaging the audience to interact with content and boost engagement.


The work—


Keeping the content and execution on theme, the STN team crafted a trivia game to keep viewers actively engaged during the live stream while also playing to iconic moments and footage all FRIENDS fans would enjoy. The team designed graphics closely with TBS and went through several rounds of drafting to get everything just right!

STN produced a well thought out, fan-centic Live Stream as well as a pre-shoot on the Warner Brothers Studio Lot. The team even hired a miniature set builder to build out a replica of Monica’s apartment which was filled with adoptable rescue kittens from Best Friends Animal Society in Los Angeles to entertain our viewers while they were getting their trivia answers in.

STN provided a Team of 22 people on the ground from the Executive Producer, Hosts, Set Builders, Tech Directors, Audio Tech's, and Teleprompter operator and pulled off an incredible trivia show that all FRIENDS fans ate up!


The Results—


The extremely successful livestream accumulated 2.1M+ views with 1.85M+ unique viewers— 80% of these, live. The tweet alone brought in over 7,000 engagements with a 6% engagement rate— performing 154 times over the average tweet for the TBS Account during this time frame.
