Returning for a second year, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee asked STN to produce the #NotTheWHCD Red Carpet Show (Not the White House Correspondent’s Dinner) for Twitter and Facebook to promote the broadcast that aired subsequently on TBS.

STN worked closely with the team at Full Frontal to provide the script, rundown, graphics packages, transitions and more. We sent a team to Washington, D.C. to be the boots on the ground and produce the #NotTheWHCD Red Carpet Show.

The show was hosted by Allana Harkin and Michael Rubens with special correspondent, Amy Hoggart. Throughout the livestream, a continuous countdown clock reminded digital viewers to tune-in to the broadcast special on TBS.

Additionally, STN provided community management services to increase awareness of the event including producing various tune-in campaign social graphics.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee earned the #1 most social interactions and #1 most Twitter Conversation of all TV shows with new episodes airing on 4/27.

  • Earned 139 MILLION potential impressions from Twitter buzz

  • Key influencers included Amanda Palmer, Cobie Smulders, and Ronan Farrow, along with talent Katie Couric. Verified Twitter users drove a total of 257 million potential impressions.

  • Videos about Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner during its campaign period earned 4. 8M video views, +264% more views than 2017 NTWHCD videos during the same relative period.
