Human Resources Assistant


Job Summary

STN Digital is looking to add a Human Resources Assistant to the team due to a ton of growth within the organization. We are looking for a resourceful and detailed oriented person to help support a wide range of activities inside our HR department including recruiting and administrative duties and projects. An important part of your role will be to act as a liaison between the HR department and employees, ensuring prompt resolution of requests and questions. You’ll also work with the Director of HR, the CEO and other Senior team members on cross-departmental projects and reports.   • You will:

    • Assist with day to day operations of the HR function

    • Help organize essential Human Resources paperwork and maintain employee files

    • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Director of HR

    • Be the catalyst for company recruiting by helping identify top-talent for our current and future job openings and helping manage the interview process

    • Run the logistics behind our quarterly employee review process

    • Help plan and execute company team building events 

    • Help execute initiatives related to employee recognition

    • Ensure effective time tracking in regards to company payroll

    • Manage all of the tools and platforms that our team uses by maintaining data quality and be the go-to resource for answering related questions and requests

    • Be a liason to various vendors for company tools and platforms

    • Assist Senior Team leaders and Director of HR with training and employee onboarding

    • continually look for ways to improve departmental and company-wide processes and procedures. 

    • Manage the company HR calendar and email inbox, routing requests to the appropriate party and 

    • Work with the Administrative Assistant to help with Office Management related tasks

    • Work with members of the Senior team cross-functionally on Human Resources-focused projects

    • Assist the Director of HR with projects and enforcement or company policies and procedures


  • You should have:

    • 1+ years of experience in a human resources or recruiting role

    • strong verbal and written communication skills

    • ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize and organize

    • A positive, solution-oriented attitude and a great sense of humor

    • a strong interest in building a career in Human Resources

    • Unmatched work ethic & meticulous attention to detail

    • An intellectually curious personality and eagerness to learn

    • The following characteristics: adaptability, charisma, empathy, resourcefulness and diplomacy.

    • A Bachelor’s Degree

    It would be cool if you have:

    • start-up or digital marketing agency experience

    • experience with any of the following platforms: LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google Suite, Wrike, T-Sheets, Expensify, LastPass, Front, and Box

    • Strong business accumen

    • a degree or certification in Human Resources
